Today we woke up in our own bed!! I think I slept better. It's hard to sleep when you have a brand new baby. I'm constantly having to check to be sure she is breathing, that she is warm enough, that the covers are not anywhere near her face. She loves to snuggle, and I love snuggling with her! Her skin is peeling in random places, and really bad on the tops of her feet and her hands. Catherine says it's because she is living in the air now instead of in the water. We have been rubbing olive oil all over to moisturize her and it works really good. I cleaned her belly button again today. I really hope it falls off soon so I can take a bath with her. I want to see if she likes the tub and water.
Today my friend Rebecca came by to meet Adelaide and brought her a really warm fuzzy baby towel that she made for her. It was nice to see her and show off the baby, although all she really does is sleep and look cute!

I had been checking your blog everyday to hear your birth story and when you finally posted it I wasn't able to write a comment. I don't know if it was my computer or what.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you that your birth story brought tears to my eyes. Adelaid is beautiful and you and Myles are wonderful parents.
