South Carolina Part 1
We made it! I had been nervous about the long flights with Adelaide for days, but she did really well! I always freak myself out about these things for nothing. I am also happy to say that I have been fighting my fears of flying for years, and I'm getting much better. We flew into Dallas and then to Charleston. The flights were not bad and Punkie only got a little restless at the end of the first flight, but it wasn't even that bad. We apparently brought the cold weather with us however. It's been very cold and rainy here, just like Portland. We are looking forward to more sun this week so we can do some sight seeing. It was a great weekend though because Lisa (nanabird) was here as well so we all got to visit and hang out together doing family stuff. That is my favorite thing to do anyway so I am happy! She left this morning though so now it's time to hit the streets, the water, and all else touristy.
Here is Adeliade on the plane reading her book. She looks so old here!
Breakfast at Vickory's - an amazing view!!!!

Happy Birthday my Love
Myles turned 34 years old today. We had a special morning together with Adelaide and then relaxed most of the day. After dinner everyone brought out a birthday cake full of candles for Myles to blow out, along with gifts. It was a fun day and I hope Myles wasn't too embarrassed. I love him so much and hope he had a fun birthday.

Avocado Tree
I saved the seed from the very first Avocado that Adelaide ever ate =) We put it in water, and here is the tree we are growing. We planted it in dirt and it seems to be very healthy. I don't know what we will do once it gets really big though, because I think it's much too cold to grow outside where we live. Maybe Granny Joan can plant it in her yard or something....

October outfit from Granny Joan =)
Every month Myles mom sends Adelaide the CUTEST outfit! We love it because now she has such a nice wardrobe, and everyone always says how nice she looks. Here is what she got for October, it's so cute! Thank you Natalie for the shoes that match it perfectly! I love shoes!! This was day 2 in a row at the park. Adelaide gets to practice her crawling, and she is so good at it now. She is really fast too =)

This weeks favorites
Adelaide is always changing - so I thought this might be fun...
Here are her favorites for the week:
Food = frozen peas
Word = "up" except she says it over and over "up, up" "up, up"..and kinda leaves the "p" off most of the time =)
Toy = Stuffed Frog prince
Bother = Both of her top front teeth are cutting through right now!
Song = If your happy and you know it...
Place = Playing at the stairs that lead to the kitchen

update on language and jammie photo's
Adelaide is now crawling on her knees like a big girl! She points at things when she wants you to take her to look at them (like pictures on the wall). She also tries to do her sign language for milk, airplane, all done, water, and up. She also says "hi", "up" and "uh-oh" if she drops something. She also says mama and dada and waves hi and bye. Here are some cute pictures of her in her jammies and her fuzzy bear outfit.
