Adelaide drew Morgan and her mama Molly on the card. I think it looks so good!!! She also signed all of our names in Orange at the bottom left. Such a great artist already!

Tap Dance class

Adelaide was VERY excited to try a tap dancing class. She really liked the sound that the shoes make, so we decided to try it. It was lot's of fun taking her up to the dance studio to pick out a pair of tap shoes in her size. She gets to wear them in the bathroom to practice,  but not on the hard wood floors.

Adelaide even picked out her clothes to wear to her first class, and let me braid her hair for the first time ever!

The first tap class was VERY full of kids and adults. It was LOUD! Too loud for me, too loud for Emmylou and TOO LOUD for Adelaide. We decided to switch back to the creative dance class that she likes much better.

This is our friend Leonie. Her brother Felix and Adelaide have the exact same birthday!! Leonie is about 2 months older than Emmylou.

This video melts my heart. What a sweet, happy girl we have. She is already trying to talk...it's never going to be quiet in this house again between the two of them!

This is the board at the front door of the Birth Center. They put up all of the babies that are born with their midwives each month. Can you find Emmylou's name?

I think it's fun to see what kinds of names people are using these days. Also fun to see if we can meet some of these friends through the years! And emmylou needed a snack while we were there. Eventhough I don't work there anymore...I miss it and miss our friend Cat who we got to hang out with too.

Rollerskating for the first time!

I took Adelaide to the skate rink for the pre-school skate class. She really loved the plastic skates that fit onto her shoes. She didn't want to try the "heavy" ones. The highlight of her day was when the squirrel came out to do the chicken dance and "skate" with her. She had a great time, and I think we will wait a while before she tries ice skating...even though she really wants to. She didn't want to let go of my hand much and still has a lot to learn.
