Avocado Tree

I saved the seed from the very first Avocado that Adelaide ever ate =) We put it in water, and here is the tree we are growing. We planted it in dirt and it seems to be very healthy. I don't know what we will do once it gets really big though, because I think it's much too cold to grow outside where we live. Maybe Granny Joan can plant it in her yard or something....

Every month Myles mom sends Adelaide the CUTEST outfit! We love it because now she has such a nice wardrobe, and everyone always says how nice she looks. Here is what she got for October, it's so cute! Thank you Natalie for the shoes that match it perfectly! I love shoes!! This was day 2 in a row at the park. Adelaide gets to practice her crawling, and she is so good at it now. She is really fast too =)

My current Knitting project

I have finished Myles stocking, and now I'm on to Adelaides. Myles' turned out really beautiful. It was my very first felting project, and I think I'm hooked =)

Little girl, Big kitchen

Time to trim those toenails!

I have to trim Adelaide's fingernails at least twice a week, and her toenails about every two weeks or so. She has the cutest little toes, but she doesn't always cooperate as much as I wish she would.

Adelaide is now crawling on her knees like a big girl! She points at things when she wants you to take her to look at them (like pictures on the wall). She also tries to do her sign language for milk, airplane, all done, water, and up. She also says "hi", "up" and "uh-oh" if she drops something. She also says mama and dada and waves hi and bye. Here are some cute pictures of her in her jammies and her fuzzy bear outfit.

A weekend with Grandpa Don and Ming-te

We had a fun filled weekend with Myles dad and his new wife Ming-te. The weather was perfect so we were outside a lot. Myles took some amazing pictures! We started off Saturday at the Japanese Garden here in Portland. It was so beautiful. I can't wait to go back again in the fall. I know it will be gorgeous!









Next we walked over to the Rose Garden. Portland is the "city of roses" - so we had to show off the gardens. It was beautiful. Here is little miss Rosie face =)

And we ended the night with a delicious dinner at the German Restaurant. It was a great day!

On Sunday we took a drive to Multnomah Falls. It was VERY crowded out there, but also a beautiful day. Here is the 5 of us...
