Wrightwood

The day after the wedding we made the drive up to Wrightwood to see my Grandma and my Great-grandma's sister Inez. It was great for Adelaide to meet so much of her family, and we had a great time. She also got to meet one of my dad's best friends in the whole world. It was a good trip and we really got to see a lot for such a quick trip!

Wedding Bells are Ringing

We went to Southern California for Adelaide's Grandpa Don's wedding. It was so much fun because she got to meet her uncle Jeremy, and a whole BUNCH of family from Myles' dad's side. The wedding was beautiful, and we had a lot of fun. Adelaide did a great job the entire time, no problems at all. I think we need to get all of the travelling out of our system now while it's still easy! She slept fine in the hotel, the car, and anywhere else when she got tired. I'm so proud of her!

Grandpa Don and Ming-te

This is Adelaides first time hanging out by the pool. I dipped her toes in but she didn't really like it. Maybe it was too cold?

The wedding in the church. Myles and Jeremy are up there, but it's hard to see much from this picture. There was a floating Jesus - can you see him?

Cutting the cake!

The "kids" table (best table in the house!)

Punki in her dress. I had to put a onsie under it at the end because it got really cold for her. She was so pretty!

Punki's first flight

This was Adelaides first time on an airplane. We were flying down to Long Beach for Myles' fathers wedding. Adelaide did such a great job! She actually started laughing out loud for one of the first times ever when I was kissing her!! I nursed during the take off, and landing, and she did great. I was WAY more nervous about everything than she was.
Here we are in front of the plane after it landed

Singing voices

Adelaide found her voice! Now she uses it most of the time. Not so sure about the volume control so far. She is still learning!

Nannabird and Jamie

Two of my very favorite people in the world came to visit and meet Adelaide. My best friend Jamie ( I usually refer to her as my cousin) and her mom, my auntie Lisa. Jamie came all of the way from South Carolina. It was so great to see them, and they took such good care of Adelaide and I while they were here. We did lots of shopping and eating. We also rode the sky tram for the first time. It was really exciting. Everyone loved Adelaide and she had quite an audience. The view of the city from the top was super amazing, but it was cold and rainy that day, so the views weren't as good as I know they would be on a clear day. It was sad to say good-by, and having them here reminded me of how good it feels to have people that you really love close by. Hopefully we will get to go visit Charleston in October so Adelaide can meet Jamie's husband and her brother (one of my other favorite people in the world) and his family. I hate that we all live so far apart. I want our kids to grow up together, so once she starts having them, I guess we will have to find a way to make it all work.

Hotel Room

This was in Lisa and Jamie's room at the Kennedy School. It is such a neat hotel, and I just like how this picture turned out.

Dancing in her backwards pants

Myles and I got Adelaide this little outfit, and the pants look like they are backwards!! The tag and elastic are in the back, so maybe this is just the new style? Either way, she is really good at dancing while she is laying down!

Granny visits for the day

Today Myles' mom flew up just for the day to see her grand baby. She is the best Grandmother to her, always getting her the prettiest clothes and cutest toys. It must take a lot of work to fly all the way to our town and home again in one day, so we had to make it as fun as possible. She even gave Adelaide a bath and helped dress her. Then she took us to a delicious lunch. It was a very fun day!

Holding up this heavy head is hard work!

Thumb Sucker

Here is a video I made on Feb 13th of Adeliade sucking her thumb. This was only the second time I had ever seen her suck her thumb...and I haven't seen her do it since! I think she is still learning how to get her thumb to her mouth, and she gets really mad sometimes when she can't figure it out. I think once she gets better at it she will be able to fall asleep better for her naps. I know that might sound bad, but I am teaching her to go to sleep without nursing to sleep, so sometimes it takes a while...

13 Weeks

Adelaide was being so darn cute and happy when I was taking these, I have to post them all. She was giggling and flinging her arms all around. She is such a happy little baby, I can hardly stand it. Too cute!!

3 Month Check up

Today Adelaide had her 3 month check up.
I put up one silly picture and one not so silly. This is Adelaide with Cathryn. She is the midwife who delivered her, and also her pediatrician. She has to be one of the most amazing mothers I have ever met. I love her.

Here is how she has grown:
Weight - 14 and a half pounds!!!!!
Height - 25 inches
Head - 41 cm around

She is healthy as can be (other than her sniffles) and growing perfectly. She is in the 90% for height as well as weight for girls her age, however when you put them both together I guess she is in the 50% which is perfect according to Catheryn. She is already wearing 6 month size clothes...my giant little baby!
