A date with daddy

Myles and Adelaide went on an adventure together up to Trillium Lake on Mt. Hood. I was so jealous when I saw the photos. It looks so beautiful there, I'm sure you'll agree! I can't wait to go there with them and jump in the lake myself!

Happy Apple

This is a poem from Adelaide's book of Irish Rhymes for Children.

If I were an apple, and grew on a tree
I think I'd fall down on a nice boy like me.
I wouldn't stay there, giving nobody joy.
I'd fall down at once and say....EAT ME MY BOY!

Esparanza's Party!!!

Adelaide's friend Esparanza had her third birthday party. I was the first time that Adelaide has seen or hit a pinata. She was so excited the whole party to see what a pinata was, and it was fun to watch all of the kids try and break it open.

Espi and her Pinata before it gets destroyed.

Look at Adelaide's sweet little face excited about the pinata!

Time to sing Happy Birthday!

Headband for Espi

I crocheted this little headband for our friends Birthday. It was the first headband I've ever made. I didn't use a patern or anything...so I was pretty impressed with how it turned out =)

Concert in the Park

Every Friday night in July they have a big concert in the park by our house. We love to stop at the burrito joint and grab some dinner and then go to the park and dance. Adelaide was learning how to snap her fingers. She just loves music and dancing!

Blueberry Season yay!!!

Buckets ready - and she wanted to bring her "easter basket" too!

Adelaide and Fallon all ready to go

Another zoo trip!

Adelaide and I were supposed to meet some friends at the zoo, but they weren't able to make it. It ended up being a really fun day with just the two of us. I love the days where we get to go do something so fun together and have no distractions.

First ice cream cone ever!! We shared it - it was sooooo good!

She was very brave and went through the dinosaur exibit!! It was very fun and she really loves dinosaures now!

She got her own little dinosaurs to take home

Peeking in the little window

Her favorite are the Polar Bears...even when they are asleep

Fallon and Adelaide

Adelaides friend Fallon took her to a really fun place called The Enchanted Playground. They had a bounce house (which may not have been the best idea for a prego mama!!) and tons of little bikes and toys to play with. She had a blast. These girls really get along so perfectly!!

Here they are sharing a snack and some juice!

July was a fun month

This July really didn't seem like summer yet. It was cold and rainy on many days. Mama (me) was still not feeling well because of the baby in the belly, but we tried and tried to enjoy every minute of sun that we could.

Yes we make Adelaide wear this funny outfit to the river! Look close and you will see a deer in the bushes!!
 Digging in the sand

Frances and Ezra had a fun Barbeque for the 4th of July!

We were going to camp out in the front yard, it was fun for a few minutes and then Adelaide wanted to come inside and sleep in her own bed. Can't blame her because there were fireworks going off all over the place and it felt like a warzone!

Adelaide dressed up like Burt from Mary Poppins. She loves Burt!!

Our really good friend Rhonan and his mama and brother came up to see us!! Adelaide had lots of fun with him!

Daddy feet

Our garden is finally starting to grow!!! FINALLY!!

I'm still a photographer

Look at these shots I took of my beautiful friend a few weeks ago. She looked so good pregnant! Newborn shots yet to come.

Water Slide

14 Weeks with baby #2

My belly already feels so much bigger than it was the first time. They say you pop out faster the second time around, and I guess it must be true. My clothes are already not fitting me anymore. I am feeling much better than I was a few weeks ago, but still vomiting upon waking, and nauseous throughout the day. The biggest difference I have noticed this time is that I feel so tired all of the time. Yesterday I took a 3 hour power nap when Myles got home from work. It felt so needed and so good. Maybe my body is better at making the baby while I sleep? Either way, I hope there is only one little baby in there and I hope I don't grow too fast. I weighed myself a few days ago and I was up to 149 lbs. I started at 146, but went down to 142 because I was sick and not able to eat much. It's good to see I'm finally gaining like I should be.
