I got creative and took some shots of our Christmas stockings that I made. The pattern comes from the book Alterknits Felt. First I knit the stocking using wool that will felt - and then put it in the washing machine with hot water and some soap...and wa-lah - you have these beautiful stockings! I stitched the bottom of Myles blue one to keep the curl really tight, and think I will probably do that with the other two as well. I think they are quiet Seussey - and even though I have them hanging from the tree here - they also look great hanging near the tree at Christmas time.
